On May 3, 2022, the pandemic agreements between the German federal government and five pharmaceutical companies based in Germany were signed at the Paul Ehrlich Institute in Langen.
By signing the agreement, our client IDT Biologika is also granting the German federal government access to production capacity for five years, enabling it to rapidly manufacture and deliver at least 80 million doses of vaccine per year. This is an important contribution to supplying citizens in Germany and other countries with vaccines should a new infectious disease emerge, as it minimizes the risk of potential supply shortages.
To store these vaccines for an extended period, they must be sufficiently frozen. To this end, IDT approached Coolworld with a request to lease 25 large-scale deep-freeze storage units.
Wondering why IDT Biologika is so satisfied with Coolworld’s assistance? Then please read on.
