Coolworld has acquired CRS Group ("CRS"), a leading provider of modular cold storage solutions in Ireland and the UK. We welcome more than 65 new colleagues with whom we share the same values and culture.
By acquiring CRS, Coolworld is establishing a strong base in two new countries, the UK and Ireland. By bringing CRS' innovative and solution-oriented team on board, together with their in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities, we significantly deepen our value proposition in the modular cold storage segment.

Every temperature control requirement comes with its own challenges. It might be a food producer needing additional freezer capacity, a manufacturer managing a process cooling requirement or a business facing an unexpected refrigeration breakdown.
Bringing CRS into Coolworld connects more people, experience and equipment to help customers find a suitable solution.
Our combined offering includes cold stores, freezer stores, blast freezers, process chillers and heating solutions, with engineering support to help customers plan, install and maintain their rental equipment.
Whether the requirement is short term, seasonal or ongoing, our focus is on understanding what the customer needs and making the arrangements as straightforward as possible.

Equipment matters, but so do the people behind it.
Customers need someone who listens, understands the pressures on their business and follows through. That approach remains at the heart of how we work as Coolworld.
From account managers and engineers to the teams preparing equipment and coordinating deliveries, everyone has a part to play in supporting our customers. Bringing those teams closer together gives us more opportunities to share knowledge and solve problems.
It also strengthens collaboration between colleagues across our European operations, allowing local experience to be supported by expertise from the wider business.
What does the change mean for CRS customers?
Customers will see the Coolworld name across our communications, equipment and online channels as the transition progresses.
If you have previously worked with CRS, you can continue to speak to our team about your temperature control requirements. We can help with existing enquiries, upcoming projects and questions about the change.
As part of Coolworld, customers have access to a broader range of temperature control equipment and support through one team, making it easier to discuss different requirements in one place.
Looking ahead as Coolworld
This next chapter builds on the work of our colleagues and the relationships we have developed with customers over the years.
