Coolworld Cookie Statement

What are cookies?

Cookies and related technologies are small text files that are sent along with pages from this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or other device. These text files may contain information about your use of the website and certain choices and settings you have configured on it. In addition, cookies are used to identify a computer.

Why do we use cookies?

We collect and process data through cookies and related technologies to track the behavior of visitors to our websites. This allows us to optimize our website and tailor it to the needs and interests of our visitors.

Consent and Legal Bases

The use of functional cookies is necessary for our website to function as well as possible. Enabling these cookies is therefore required.

In addition, we would like to place analytical and marketing cookies. Any use of cookies that is not strictly technically necessary (as is the case with functional cookies) constitutes data processing that is permitted only with your explicit and active consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. This applies in particular to the use of performance, advertising, targeting, or sharing cookies.

Furthermore, we will only disclose your personal data processed by cookies to third parties if you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

We therefore need your consent before placing these marketing cookies. We therefore offer you the option to consent to the placement of these cookies. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

Deleting Cookies

You can delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will also revoke any consent you previously gave. The links below provide more information on how to do this: Firefox Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Firefox (mobile), Chrome (mobile), Safari (mobile), and Microsoft Edge (mobile).

It is also possible to use the service on the YourOnlineChoices website to opt out. When you use this service, you delete all cookies used for interest-based advertising.

A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which are stored after the individual session. In terms of their function, cookies are categorized as follows:

Third-party cookies
Not all cookies are set by Coolworld. Some may also be set on your device by third parties. This occurs, for example, when you use a social media plugin.
