    A manufacturer of chemical intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry faced the challenge of ensuring reliable climate control for several warehouse buildings after the heating season. Coolworld provided a mobile solution consisting of chilled water units and ventilation units.

    How was Coolworld able to help the chemical manufacturer?

    • Replacement of 3 heating containers (600 kW) with 2 chillers (200 kW & 100 kW).
    • Climate control of 3 warehouse buildings maintained at a constant +16°C.
    • Installation of 4 x 50 kW ventilation units—2 per floor.
    • Integration of a chiller into the customer’s existing system.

    All the information at a glance

    The climate requirements for chemical storage products are demanding, especially during the summer months. Coolworld provided two mobile chillers and four air handling units to maintain the storage areas reliably at +16°C. The solution was implemented without any modifications to the building structure.

    • Producer of chemical intermediates

      The customer produces basic chemical materials that are used, among other applications, in pharmaceutical processing.

    • Stable conditions for sensitive materials

      Even in hot summer conditions, the chemical substances must be stored at a constant temperature of 16°C.

    • Cooling solution using two units

      A 200 kW chiller was connected to the customer’s system, while a 100 kW unit was installed externally, together with four air handling units to distribute the cooled air.

    • Flexible installation without structural modifications

      The entire installation was carried out using flexible temporary hoses. Efficient, fast, and without interrupting production.
