The room temperature had to be regulated to ensure the safety and comfort of the artists and visitors. Flexible cooling despite a tight timeframe

The venue had an existing heating and cooling system that only allowed a deviation of +2°C, which was insufficient for the demands of the hot summer months. As there were no clear specifications for the indoor temperature, a safe and comfortable climate had to be ensured for both performers and the audience.

Additional connections were required for the project, increasing the power demand and making implementation more complex. However, Coolworld’s mobile rental cooling system could be integrated seamlessly into the existing infrastructure and supplied chilled air to the existing air handling unit.

This ensured a pleasantly controlled indoor climate throughout the entire one-month performance period, without the need for extensive structural modifications.

The mobile cooling system kept the hall at a constant temperature between 20 and 24°C and adapted flexibly to outdoor temperatures and visitor numbers.

Two air handling units and a chiller were installed and integrated into the existing heating system. This allowed the existing unit to receive pre-conditioned, cooled supply air.
